Joining 1% CLUB means joining an international conversation that you can set in motion, follow, and participate in. We are the first generation that has the technology to have this dialogue, to collaborate on a world wide scale. It is a new way of doing things, of solving problems in developing countries in a more efficient and humane way. Our way.

De 1%CLUB is opgericht vanuit de gedachte: “Als iedereen 1% van zijn of haar tijd, kennis en inkomen inzet, kunnen we armoede structureel oplossen”.  Het is een online marktplaats voor ontwikkelingsprojecten waar je 1% van je salaris kunt inzetten voor een project van je eigen keuze.

In 2009 - 2010 heeft het Ooffa Bibliotheek project 2176 euro opgeleverd via de 1% club. Met de bijdrage is de school enorm verbeterd. In het weblog vind je de evaluatie, of bekijk hier de fotoserie van de opgeknapte school. 

Het Sanitair project op de 1% club heeft het gevraagde bedrag binnen!! 

In oktober 2011 id de eerste donatie aan het schoolhoofd overhandigd (foto hieronder). In maart 2012 gaat het overige bedrag naar het project.
